Sorry Tale For Michael Owen And Newcastle

Michael Owen is ruled out for the rest of world cup and even miss most of the match in 2006 for Newcastle. Owen has not played much for Newcastle in 2006 since he transfered from Real Madrid. He underwent trough series of injuries and was out of the Newcastle squad for most of the season. He hardly played for 30 mints for Newcastle in his comeback and could not play the last match for Alan Shearer. But somehow he proved his fitness for the World Cup. He did not make a dream start to the campaign and was subsituted in both the matches. He was feeling a sense of confidence with the return of Rooney but that ended in just 1 mint to the final group match against Sweden. he twisted his Knee and might require major operation once the swelling is gone. It is a big loss for Owen and England. The biggest loser in all this is Newcastle who had spend too much money to buy Owen from Real Madrid and he could hardly play any game due to injury and has been out most of the season. Now when he was recovering he again got a major injury and may be out for atleast 5 months. This means again Newcastle will start to the season without the service of Owen. This is a big concern to all the Newcastle fans and management as they are the biggest loser. But we wish Owen and Newcastle all the best and hope he recovers from this injury very soon.
