Who will be England’s new captain?

England are out of World Cup in the quarter finals, England’s captain David beckham has taken the responsibilty for the early exit and has resigned from the captain’s post. Now the new coach Steve McClaren has to pick up the new captain. Aleady there are lots of speculations as who will be the new captain of England. The two names which are making all the news are John Terry of Chelsea or Steven Gerrard of Liverpool. Former England manager Graham Taylor believes Chelsea defender John Terry should become captain of his national side after David Beckham stood down. But ex-England skipper Terry Butcher says new boss Steve McClaren must pick Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard. Some people argue about Gary Neville but becuase of his age he could be a temporary captain, England will be better of if they select any one young and experienced and lead their club. Thus Terry and Gerrard are hot favourites. Whoever takes the captainship from England and how successful he would be but everyone will miss Beckham. He was a great player and a wonderful captain. Who in your opinion would be the next England captain?
